I have a problem with my game, I know it is probabgly not a bug, but damn it, I have taken over the mall, the entire thing, not a single shovel. I've checked multiple crates and such in surrounding shops not a single shovel.

I've checked mulitple shops in valley station, I've checked the hardware store in in west point, and the farm with the crate shed to the north, still not one single shovel, I have seen like 5-6 sledge hammers, but no shovels what so ever, this is becoming very frustrating.

I went through the entire warehouse in West Point, including the storage shed next door. (Using a sledge hammer) and not a single shovel.

It is kind of bull, when you can't find a single spade in any hardware stores, or farms, or warehouse, or storage units. Whatever the item spawning mechanism is, it needs work done on it, I am playing a normal survival game, not a sandbox game. Of all the things, in a small town area with farms as the map setting is shovels should be pretty plentiful.

Filling sandbags for sandbag walls and/or relocating soil.

yeah, basically I wanted to move dirt to just out side the mall (I have plenty of empty sand bags qq). But just no shovels it seems in the entire world -_-

i found in muldraught more than once , especially in the ware house that located at the west.

yeah every other game I have found one or more, just this game, I went through the entire mall in the eastern part of the map, the hardware store in west point. the werehouse, the storage unit, and not a single shovel.

In the end, I have given up, and cheated -_- I got my shovel.. Now I just got to run back to my home in the mall.

i went through the gun shop and didn't get a single gun. it's all on luck dude.

meh some times the luck really ruins the whole realism, a gun store by all means should have at least one gun, if on a normal survival game. a hardware store should have at least one shovel, especially when you consider you're in a region with farms, so clearly it is something people are like to buy often enough.

Further the farms I checked had no shovels ether.

Yeah, it was a weird game, I have never before had such problems finding a single item, who knows maybe some weird bug. I started a newer game, and found one pretty quick so eh

There is certainly an argument to be made that they should work on the item-spawning code.

But to say that in the zomnbie apocalypse a gun store will have guns it in? Maybe not. Or a hardware store having shovels? Maybe someone else already will have cleared those places out before you got there.

Of couse for the purposes of this game, you should be able to find the items you need at least somewhere.

Like said, I have never normally had this issue before, so I was just annoy at the time xD everyone gets a little bit of nerd rage occasionally =p
