Maybe one day they'll let us use the useless washers and dryers all over the place while the electric is still working :D

only downside to that woud they are realy noisy and would attract zeds

There was a time when people used clothes lines to dry.....no noise at all.

True but they let us use shotguns so...

Get out of here with your ancient tech of yesteryear!

Joking aside, a dish towel would dry just fine sitting out for a day or two anywhere (even if it does stink a little.)

lol they could even make it turn into a "soiled towle" and have it still dry you off but your ch gets disgusted by it.

Nope.

I've been waiting for this to be added. I had over 2 year pause from Project Zomboid and unfortunately there's still no way to dry them (except mods, but I'm a purist...). To me it sounds so simple to add, so no idea why they haven't added it so that we can battle the rain more effectively.

Then again, I'm not a game developer, nor do I play one on TV.

yep this detail seems fast and easy to add, compared to the huge new features they added .
neofutur Mar 18, 2016 @ 10:14am
yes ! i also thought something simple like "24 hours outsite and they re dry"
there are probably thousands of new things to do , but this one is just finishing an already existing feature ( towels ). you are doing great huge new stuff, compared to this simple detail.

Harder if you do anything other than a "wring out" recipe. I'd rather see a system added that allows towels to naturally dry when left out, rather than magically be replaced with a dry towel.

None the less, there are thousands of things like this that need to be done.
Not sure what the final prefered method would be, but maybe a cooking recipe so that you can "cook" them in the oven might be a quick way to do it.

But yes, "early access". The game is not feature-complete, and it would be foolish to demand all the possible features right here and right now. I already got respawning zombies, and that was the reason why I stopped playing over 2 years ago. I think I can manage with wet towels...

washers and dryers aren't that loud. When I'm doing laundry I don't hear my washer and dryer from outside. Sure if you put your washer and dryer directly outside then maybe it would draw some from very close by, but it still wouldn't be a huge draw. So in short. Unless you're using a really old one or one that's in need of repair and probably shouldn't be used anyway there wouldn't be enough noise to draw zombies.
