Connection Failed issue - SOLVED
I had tried many times host a server of PZ to play together with some friends, but we cant connect to any server that we try to host... we have made our Port Fowarding, we have Firewall triple check allowing PZ to inbound and outbound connections.. but we just cant join our servers... :(

Anyone know how to fix it ? i really would appreciate to play PZ multiplayer without any software like Hamachi or Tunngle as a workaround...

You need to create a static IP and the person hosting it must connect through that IP instead of the one the other players use. I had this issue where I could run the server and my friends could connect, but I couldn't connect. I had to give my friends the Ip i got from this page http://whatismyipaddress.com/ and have them connect through port 16261. When I logged in I had to use the static IP address I created when setting up the port forwarding. The statc ip should be something like 10.0.0.110 the last 3 digits may vary depending on what you set the static IP to.
That's not entirely correct, Shrykull. You do NOT need a static IP address - You DO have to be aware that some ISPs (Especially in the US) will change your IP randomly (or if you turn off your modem at night)

Semi-Edit: I realize now you're talking about a static LOCAL IP, which definitely helps. Still not mandatory but such a timesaver in case your router IP lease runs out.

Additionally some new ISPs have stopped handing out "public IP's" to customers, meaning you won't be hosting anything - AT ALL- since you're hidden behind their NAT.

So to conclude: You need to port forward 16261 to whatever local IP address on your personal network that is hosting the PZ server (run "CMD" then "IPCONFIG" and you'll see your IP address)

Then your friends have to connect to yout public IP (Use Shry's link) and your router should NAT translate their connection to your computer and your server.
Just found the problem guys... Port 16261 MUST be using UDP in fowarding... the other ports (16262 ~ 16263... ) can be set as TCP for how many players you want to have in the server.
