What do turning lights on and off change?
Do zombies ignore the house you're in if you turn off the light, or does it just make no difference? Is it harder for them to see you through windows?

Makes it easier for them to spot you.

Zombies can sense light so just keep the lights off.

They can see the lights from outside, and will be lured towards the house

Why can I sometimes carry 18 for weight and other times only 16?

If you're well fed you get a buff to your strength, so can carry more. Likewise if you're hungry, your strength is reduced.
