How to use oven to cook food?

In older version , I drag food into the oven container menu, and click the 'on' button, now I can't figure out how to use oven, use lighter to burn things in this version...also can't I sleep in multiplayer?

put food in...turn oven on...
wait for it to heat up and cook....then snacky snacky

Sleep isn't implemented yet on multiplayer, mainly because it'd be realtime at this point. A napping system is planned.

is this jsut this one oven? or all of them you are encountering?

also..have any mods running? may affect things in weird ways...I had one mod that disabled the right click menu periodically, which was annoying enough to stop using the mod.

I am using most updated steam version, I don't use any mods.

Okay... so how do you use the grills outside or cook after power is out? lol I finally started living long enough for this to become a valid concern for me.

Wondering that as well as last night I got to a point where power went out on my game for the first time lol.

The outdoor grills need a full propane tank to be usable; if they have that, you should be able to turn them on/off in the right click context menu, NOT their inventory management screen.

However, is another method of creating a cooking fire when the power runs out - a campfire kit, craftable with 3 planks (you can get these from breaking down doors) and 1 bandage (you can get these from ripping up clothes)
