Small question in case TIS reads me: Are there plans to resume Thursdoids this month/soon? It's march and i haven't seen one since november last year. Would be nice to just have an in on the broader direction you guys are heading towards, challenges met and so fourth.
Now that the game resumed, I see another funny bug. All objects except the terrain periodically, like in a 2 seconds interval, disappear and then reappear. Really weird and never happened before today's patch.
Actually it has changed again now, my character and most other objects have disappeared, but the framerate has normalized. See screenshot. https://imgur.com/a/pfoOHv2
I hope the problem can be identified and fixed because right now it is not playable. Please let me know if I can provide more helpful information.
My system:
Win 10 64 bit
5900x
3080
64 GB Ram
Edit: Added another image that shows how it looks after I quit to main menu and then continued.
Edit 2: I'm running the proximity inventory mod, no other mods though.
Edit 3: After exiting the game and restarting it, the issue is gone. It works normally with or without the proximity inventory mod. I'm not sure how to reproduce the problem. I cannot reproduce it by enabling a storm, so this might be caused by something else or that mod.
I'll second this. I'd assume it's already on the to-do list since TIS named it after him. Let's be patient with this one, it deserves close attention and time.
The loot in there is incredible, and I know I'll enjoy visiting it once it gets a little touch-up. Maybe even put some VFE easter eggs in there. Posters or something? :')
(Also it doesn't show up on the minimap either, but again - that's probably already on the to-do list.)
I'm a packrat, and terrible at deciding what to leave behind, even temporarily. Also relatively new to the game. Last time I started a game, I found a chicken farm, and then didn't dare play on, worried that all the chickens would starve if I didn't tend them properly.
All I can do is tweak the sandbox settings before making a new world, to make things very noob friendly (more in regards to zombies than loot). I like crafting and building, and hoarding. Not so much fighting. :)
What do I do? :) Any suggestions from more experienced players?
(Btw, I don't want to use mods in the beta.)
i can't find a recipe
