raccoon leather
Alright, because I had to try it and no one seems to have yet; I crafted and fully processed a fur on raccoon leather, I go to place it and it's a roll! Dammit, I wanted it to be rolled out flat like the little picture on the floor, not a roll like it hasn't been processed.

I have a friend of mine that plays Dark Souls who is a firm believer that if the developer didn't want them to murder the NPC's they wouldn't have given them unique stuff.

I disagree with your raccoon murder but I approve your love of science.

I like to try lots of different things, or everything in this game if I can. BTW, it gave rodent meat. Imma not going to eat that, that's my line. I did give it a clean shot with my rifle, they run too fast to catch up to slice with my sword. I can catch up to rabbits, raccoons are faster. I know there are lots of people that won't try doing this, so I just present my findings. I do want to try and catch one to see if you can pet them in farm zones too. Still bummed on the leather though. Thought it might have placed like a deer leather. No one cares as much as creating bambies origin story and blasting its mother. :D

got lucky and had 3 spawn in a yard in muldraugh east of police station which is marked as farm. can confirm ability to pet raccoon.

had all the same options and modifiers as farm animals so i would expect yes.

So I just made the raccoon hat. It's freaking sweet. Yes, it used that fur on raccoon leather. Since I couldn't place it, I'll wear it. Little tail and all.
