antique oven in Riverside?
Hey!

I am searching for an antique oven in Riverside, but can't seem to find any location for one.
I'm playing with regular Apocalypse zombie respawn so trips to the city are a pain.

I have tried to dismount one of the fireplaces in the abandoned town West of Riverside, but apparently the game doesn't allow you to do that.

By the way, can anyone tell me how many axe hits you need to get through a basement door or garage door? (vague estimate. if you can be precise: I am level 4 axe)

chopping down doors depends on your strength, for a garage door it shouldn't take more than about 10 hits. like 4 for a standard door, and like 25-30 for a security door.

the antique ovens can be found in random basements pretty frequently

and remember they weigh 40, and your max carry weight is 50, so if you have more than 10 kg of stuff in your inventory you will have to drop some so that you can pick the oven up

basements are your best chances in riverside.
I usually use a hatchet or hammer to break doors. 8-12 hits is enough for a normal door. A bigger axe probably gets through a door quicker but I've always been a bit wary of doing this as I don't know if clobbering doors reduces weapon condition or not.

As phoofaphant says - basements are a good place for ovens. The warehouses out near the trailer park may have one if you're lucky.

I think the nearest 100% guaranteed source is probably the coalfield, which is doable as a return trip in a day with a vehicle. There may be one in a little cabin in the woods somewhere.
