Fixing A is self-explanatory, just move the corpses away from your house. For B, you need to find a lemongrass to cure yourself from poisonous food.
It wasn't clear for me either. I'm also new to the game, so maybe there are other causes for Queasy->Sick that I don't know about.
EDIT: Right, it happens if you're bitten too.
Well, I changed abode to avoid stinking corpses and I ate nothing found in the wilderness (still ransacking fridges and pantries throughout the neighborhood).
It must be the scratch that I got from a Zed.
It must be the former; the latter is not possible, since I moved to a new place.
Ok, I get it: it must have been a bite. Keeping the health tab open doesn't seem to help, as I'm not told that I was infected.
If you are also stressed on top of getting sick, you are screwed. You're going to turn.
If you ate burned/poisonous food, and your health is also decreasing, you are screwed. You are dead.
If you just caught a cold or corpse sickness, you are mostly fine. It takes a few days to recover, so just stay put somewhere safe.
Add: wound infection is not Knox Infection. There's no visual cue of you turning until it's too late.
Thanks everybody!
Generally it's best to just avoid eating anything nasty, but if you are really that desperate, rotten is better than burnt.
