best car to tow animal trailers?
i was lucky to find a big horse trailer with two pigs already inside near my base, and i'm using a fire station dash bulldriver to tow, but the fastest i can go is barely hitting 30mph. i was wondering if there are better cars to use to tow my animals a little more quickly?

towing sucks just get used to it. ive been looking for a solution to the games ♥♥♥♥♥♥ towing and all i can do is travel 5mph and watch as the ZOMBIES move faster than me. i love this game but the bugs make me hate it
make sure your tires are full, even like 5-10 psi under the max is a huge drop in acceleration and top speed

Tire "traction" is a massively overtuned factor at the moment. Quality and condition of the tires both contribute to traction. With a set of fully-inflated Performance Tires that were all over 80% condition, I could tow an animal trailer with a 370HP van somewhat okay when it would otherwise suck horribly at towing. Didn't help with offroading of course- nothing short of a 500HP+ sports car can handle that reliably.
This game needs to seriously rework the towing mechanics, any of the trucks even with less horsepower should be geared properly to tow these trailers with ease whether they're down a few PSI or not, and even using a pump to make sure the tires are completely full really makes minimal difference. Just make it how it is in real life, trucks, especially the bigger ones shouldn't struggle to pull any of the trailers, even cars should be able to pull the small ones with ease.

I'm always puzzled by this discussion.
I can go at a comfortable speed on dirt with a 220 horsepower.
30 mph is how fast I drive on grass.

Make sure your tires are inflated.
Acquiring the Speed Demon trait may also have something to do with it.

Yup check horsepower of the engine in vehicle maintenance. That is the most deciding factor, and tire quality and pressure. Old tires are actually the best tires, because they have the least rolling resistance. Which means, you car will coast for longer. Performance tires will make your car handle better, but also slow you down. Also don't forget to check animal trailer's tires.

Ambulance has much better power ratio due the weight even despite worse offroad multiplier. Or maybe try police nyala.

I guess I should clarify, towing other cars, is problematic, trailers don't seem to be too bad granted you have good tires and proper air pressures as you guys have all said, but still what Im getting at is the inability to tow other vehicles reliably.... maybe there needs to be a flatdeck trailer...

* I also realize now this thread is about towing animal trailers.... nevertheless, towing overall should be looked at
