why are some of my mods in 42 not showing up?
i got dead mods that haven't been updated show up and i got new mods that aren't, all mods should show up even if they are up to date or not, is stuff being stored in another file or something?

They might not have the "common" folder required for 42 to detect mods.
For example, The Dynamic submod of More Traits lacks one so I needed to make a new folder named "common" in the workshop directory for the game to detect it.

thx for the quick response, any way to fix the problem currently?
Are you trying to add mod that was created for B41? They won't show up in B42.

You might be able to modify them to show up in B42, but even still they probably won't work correctly.

ive done enough mod testing to know that im willing to roll the dice, the mods should still show up, i know the whole system is kinda changed but im SURE their is one old mod that still works like the reorder container mod, like i said before, all mods should show up, if they dont work then thats on the users fault, can i at least have a chance to SEE if the mod even works rather then not see it at all? feel like thats kind of an extreme turn to things, and like i said before AGAIN, some old mods that aren't even updated anymore show up.

Can you provide an example?
The mod folder structure was changed in B42. So as far I know, it should be impossible for an old mod to be recognized in B42.

Yeah the system isn't great. It relies on mod authors to properly document which versions they support. I'm sure there are plenty of mods that don't correctly identify the version they support.
