Project Zomboid

Added mods don't show in game.
I subscribed to some modes in workshop, but I can't see or turn them on in game menu? Do I need to do something additionally?

I just thought that if mod works with new version, then it should work with old version either.

No it won't work. You can only use mods that say they support B41.

It's a special change in B42 that changes the structure of mods so that mods for the unstable version (B42) can't be read properly by the current version of the game (B41).

Make sure to download the mods for the right version (build 41 or build 42 unstable).
See if steam downloaded the workshop content, sometimes you need to restart steam, or something is paused in queue before the workshop content will download.
Then they should pop up in the mods tab in the main menu or when creating a new save.
Post the mods that you are having trouble with if you need more help.
you need to check if the mod folder structure is correct for b42, it has to have two folders, 42 and common, if it doesnt you just need to create them and put the mod files inside folder 42.
If you are trying to add mods to an existing save you need to load the save through the load menu and change the mods for the save there, instead of clicking continue. Otherwise it will switch you to the mods for that save regardless of what you have enabled in the main menu.
But yea, it could also be some workshop downloading issue. Can always try restarting steam, launching / closing the game to see if it downloads them. If they are still not downloading it might be a steam issue.

Can you verify that you are running B42.12? What version are you playing?

Check if steam has downloaded the mod correctly. Check this file:

Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\108600\3575895484\mods\CleanUIExtension\42\mod.info
Post the contents of that file.

About the content, I will write tomorrow. I turned off my laptop already.

But how can I play B42? Where I need to choose it?
You need to restart the game for them to show
