roof that does not hide
I destroyed some walls with a sledgehammer in a building and now the roof of the building no longer hides when I'm inside. Does anyone know how to fix this?

This is a known issue that we are working on.
Can this be related to my problem I posted about here?

I did not touch any walls, but I destroyed two car lifters, inside the garage

Will it be fixed in a hotfix or we will have to wait till next major patch like we had to for the fix to performance issues related to inventory?

This looks like a separate issue. As Beard has recommended, I would test if you're getting this problem on a fresh save with no mods installed. That will help narrow down where the issue is.
If you have the same problem as me, destroying this wall for the upper floor solved the problem. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3576710540

And for the garage this wall https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3576710665

Looks like the exact same issue to me.

In my case, only the wall of the garage was enough.

Also trying to make a wall again makes the problem reappear, so...no wall there for now.

^ caused by outside visibility
Role-playing an indoor only - Blind person, is getting bit old... any hotfix for this ?
Apparently, this is not just limited to walls (demolishing / building). Merely placing certain 'moveables' around a building can trigger this base-borking perma-bug too.

Might be a good idea to back up your saves, if you spent any amount of time base building. Simple decorations can indeed corrupt the entire building causing the roof to fail to allow visibility inside.
I had a run going with 8000 zed kills and a 4 month survival period only to have this happen to me. My personal best run ruined by a game breaking bug.
That sucks.

I just loaded a backup after placing some barriers around the base, only to go inside and discover the building was borked forever. Base building is so scuffed rn.

You'd think that removing the 'moveables' would resolved the issue, but apparently once triggered its over.
Just wondering if the rooftile > movable item issue has been figured out yet? Just happened to my base, am wondering if its best to wait it out just move lol
