42.8 theory

One of the big things missing in B42 other than multiplayer is the challenges, I really think they're going to add some of them back (or even some new ones) since its been over a month since the last update and it would make sense for them to add something big back to the game.

TIS kicks it old-school. They use magnetic tape reels or punch-cards, depending on time of year and the current phase of Luna.

ROFL! Thanks for bringing me back in time, friend... oh gosh, installing a game that came in 4 floppys was a thrill before the unknown and the eventual failure and frustration that few things gave me since then.

I remember installing King's Quest. Took so long to install from floppy's to the hard drive, but hey...at least I HAD a hard drive. My first computer ever used cassette tapes to store and load programs.

i highly doubt multiplayer is coming but we can only hope

I'm more interested in the when than the what. I want to start a new run, and I would do so, if I knew the next update was weeks away.

Same. I don't usually whine about new update, but I'm really getting antsy waiting for the next patch. I want to get back into the game with a fresh save after 42.8 drops.
