Widescreen support?
thinking of picking up a G9, does zomboid support widecreen?

Don't even think, if you can afford - buy it. Many other games do support ultrawide and it's awesome. I just can't imagine myself ever again playing on non ultrawide monitor.

It does, and its pretty cool. I have UltraWide.

Just make sure your PC is a bit beefy too, since the bigger area has its upsides but may cause lag since ur loading essentially 2 Monitors worth of stuff.

As someone who used to live the ultrawide life: My condolences. It's a cool experience, but ultrawide support in the gaming realm is ABYSMAL and after two years of constantly looking at black bars, I gave up and bought a 16:9.

That said, yes, PZ supports basically any aspect ratio.

Yeah I had a 3090, currently running triple monitors I was just contemplating switching to a full widescreen but I have seen plenty of games not support the resolution

ive been playing in 21:9 for a year, you have to alter a file thats all it looks stunning

I am using the CRG9 (the first version of the G9) and it work very well. 5120x1440 32:9 is great with Zomboid. I just have to adjust the UI size to my liking.
