Racoons and Trapping Them
Have you achieved this?
i notice even though pigs and rats are considered stressed inside a house, but display no distressing behaviour, and respond well to pet, a mouse isn't considered stressed inside a house.
Anyways the racoon looks really nice to keep in the house, but it was too evasive to catch on foot.

nice

my pigs are registering as underfed now after they have crapped everywhere at animal care lvl 2

wild animals make much better pets i guess pigs will eventually die because i got no feed for it and it doesnt it the feed it came with
i put kidney beans and lentils in the trough lol

it wants me to go out into the farmlands and search for some propper feed.

Hence forth

Racoon looks the better pet

we have survived similar length of time

right now all the animals can eat grass, even pigs. if there's no grass in a feeding through they will eat grass from the ground, you can also leave grass cuttings on the ground if you don't want to build a through. I haven't had any issues with pigs so far feeding them grass only. :)
also that's one hell of a min-maxer bedroom haha
edit: welp now thinking about it, I did have some animals that didn't want to eat, reloading the game usually fixed it

ah il try the ground

noticed that the first rat i had i brought back alone,
and it ran away,

a second rat i brought back is happier to live with the pigs and does an animation of a happy rat animation. Its possible if the Racoon will calm with the presence of other animals

also when i saw the racoon i saw it was a racoon and rats looting together an event looted building

also make sure to stay on ground level, animals become stressed when they're on the first floor. basements seem to work fine although the zone is displayed in a weird way, I've kept the racoon in my basement until he was calm

best feature is when you build up acceptance to the raccoon and shout with Q, it walks towards you instead of running away which is a super cute touch.

They need to add those stair gateways that stop dogs and toddlers moving to the second floor IRL
because the pigs just go where they want and get in the way cause tripping hazards lol
they go into the basement one does often, they wait outside my bedroom and sleep in the way of the path, they are very realistic imo the way they behave
The only thing we did not learn is.
How much meat you get if you butcher the racoon?
Do we get more than from a rabbit? Or less!
it'l come to that when it necessary

killing a raccoon will give you a permanent luck debuff. would not recommend.

Quite a bit but it's rodent meat. Toss it or fish it. I only get their hide to make that cool hat with.
