I cant get into build 42. Help please?

So I've tried build 42 when it first came out then I went back to build 41 to play with friends but now I'm trying to go to build 42 but it doesn't work, I've tried reinstalling the game and I've also disabled all workshop mods but it's still stuck on build 41. Does anyone know what I should do?

Just to double check are you opted in to the beta by going to properties in Steam?

Yes i've done that. The version said it's unstable but when i click on play it doesn't update and just jump into the main menu and on the bottom right corner it's still build 41

nvmnd it solved now by reinstalling my own steam. thanks for the help!

Have you not seen all the forum posts about 42? Why would anyone WANT to get in on that lol. Sounds like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ show. I tried it out for like 15 minutes the other day and quit once I saw the Liquid Transfer Management Menu, or whatever ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they called it. Like 12 buttons presses to pour one bottle into another. Lmfao, wtf.

were you making mixed drinks? I am not positive it is that necessary use that level of interactions for drinking. I do the same as I did before right click and fill water bottle.
