- Added sandbox option to disable Fake Dead Reanimation. Disabled Fake deads in MP by default.
- Added more control over fake dead behaviour to the sandbox options; having zombies that were "killed" having a chance to become fake dead is an option that is off by default.
But I know in MP if I spawn in fake deads, they still make the splat sound when dying. There is no distinguishable difference between a fake dead and an actually dead. Until you walk near them and they get back up. (RIP that one player who drove over a pile of them and then exited the car ontop of the pile)
I assume the SP ones that spawn naturally will be the same? Unsure.
Yeah that makes the most sense and I guess that should also be the same in the singleplayer. Thank you
Fake Dead is zombies spawned on a tile, they are lying down LIKE they are dead. You killing zombies does not produce fake dead ones, you splattering a zombie means a kill
There is an option for both. As "world zombies" that were placed as sleeping zombies on level generation and as both world and player killed zombies ... as Alex wrote "having zombies that were "killed" having a chance to become fake dead is an option that is off by default."
I am only wondering if standing on one and destroying their head could be a sure kill, or if that would still make a reanimation possible.
