Has anyone noticed that you can now use a Deck of Cards?

And equipping a harmonica changes your Q shout into a lovely sound and is smaller in range (or so it feels like it to me).
And equipping a whistle changes your Q into a very loud whistle that is like twice as large of a range.

Absolutely loving the mementos I have found. Like a pocket watch and a photo album and backpacks, to name a few.

I haven't tried checking out the deck of cards yet, but I have a complete set of dnd dice. I should try giving them a roll.

Also, megaphone makes your Q louder. Really helps when you want to kite the horde away from somewhere.

I took my dnd dice collection and RPG manuals in my starting house to justify spawning n a katana for myself. Because I have one on my wall above my gaming library and dice hoard IRL, so... I am really enjoying all the flavor things, as well, although I do wish there were less overlap with the loot tables for normal stuff and they'd spawn in addition to rather than instead of a roll from the normal loot.

The new scenery objects are incredible! They really reinforce the RP side of Zomboid. If you equip a reliquary necklace for example, it comes with a photo inside (I once had a photo of a child for example) which gives a wonderful RP scenario.

Yeah, when you kill a zombie and in their wallet is a picture of their family on vacation. It really adds a little something.

Is there a way to actually see these mementos? Im sad I cant read diaries look at pics etc/ It says I am but all I get is green progress bar and no visuals, Also I finally figured out you need a specific newspaper to be able to read it and show artwork for front page.

It appears that they are just used to reduce boredom by a small amount only. Only the flyers and newspapers have the images I believe.
