cant make crate trap even after reading the magazine

Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue! I read the magazine to learn both the stick and crate trap recipes, but the crafting menu still reports that I do not know the recipe and therefore cannot craft it. Any tips, or maybe this is just something that needs to be fixed in B42?

Works just fine for me. I've been trapping rabbits since Christmas.

Check your modlist (if any) for stuff that overwrites crafting/recipes/trapping.
