Dead piglets

So I woke up one morning to find three dead piglets in a pool of blood in their pen. All the animals inside were calm, had plenty of food and water. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Can anyone tell me if it's a bug or something else?

No! And the meta predators (foxes) should hypothetically only be for chickens. There is no warning about predators of other animals in the sadbox. However, the scenario really makes it look like one animal killed them all.

Im skeptical if a zombie would have. I have seen the animals and zombies completely ignore each other. Maybe I'm wrong.

I know real piglets get sat on by their mothers that aren't paying attention to where their little ones are far too often, whether that was modelled I don't know.

So, several sows bred at the same time in the pen, so I have several babies, something between 20 to 30. Maybe that's it? But I don't know if the DEV's would take the game to that level, right?

So... it happened again in the same save, and I think I know what happened. The pigs killed their own. And they're eating the bodies (They have food and water, and the information about them says they're well fed and not thirsty). I don't know why they did this.
