On my part I have found a .38 revolver, a New beratta 9mm(I always ditch the spawning one) and a 1911.It's getting there but It is a chalenge.
I love the Beretta M9, its always been one of my go-tos but for my current play-through I've been on a desperate hunt to find that .38 - its abit of a novelty gun for me and being the quietest of them all it has particular uses.
I look for the shotgun to be loud and draw the Z to go after him amd leaving them in the wood.
Since B42 it have beome more mandatory.
Thats fair. Guns for the situation. Sometimes when in-doors I'll put something quiet like the .38 out, to quickly dispatch zeds while looting the place. Being in-doors, it reduces the sound of what zeds hear from the outside.
Those Z indoor are always a pain to deal it,Taking a small compact, lower the windows and going ham is fun as hell.
Very much so. Its dark, incredibly dark and out-right wrong to some people but I've had alot of fun fighting zed-heads in schools. With how open they are, its like an arena.
Searched the entire first floor of the Knox Military Apartments with loot set to "Abundant" in all categories (to keep the distribution the same).
Toolboxes, purses, handbags, all types of musical instrument cases, LOTS of games, VHS tapes, and "fun" books/postcards/photos, and THREE bellows. The amount of instruments in the place would make you think it's dorm rooms for a college of music.
The closest I got to finding anything related to guns/ammo was a SINGULAR holster. Well, that, and a "Guns and Ammo" catalog. I found like 4 knives and 1 axe as well.
Clearly something's up with the loot tables, seing that bellows are significantly more common in the military apartments than guns are.
Sounds like it lines up with what I've found at police stations and hunting stores, farming rural supply stores. Fallas Lake (used to be known as Ekron by the fans), the farming hunting supply store was a fantastic spot to find weaponry there and I only found ammo boxes and not even a single gun at the nearby police station. So something is off.
I'm at Fallas right now and I actually did find two .45 revolvers and one hunting rifle at that farm store, to my surprise.
Prior to that, I searched the WP gunstore, valley station shooting range, and the LV military surplus store. None of them had guns. The south east LV gun store had a couple forgettable guns I think.
I would say 95% of residential places I checked never had any guns or ammo. Looting guns right now is all kinds of messed up. Also haven't seen any leather slings or iron sights yet.
Yeah, I know. When I checked initially, it was like... day 21?
This is normal. Unless you get the annotated map that marks this actual building, weapons dont spawn here.
I loaded up B41 and checked myself and there are definitely gun/ammo spawns even when the annotated map hasn't been found.
