I din't found a shotgun for my part, they are out there but like a lot of thing they are nerf/drown in the new loot table.

I found it in the bedroom of a rural house, They have no clear spawn location.
Checking book store/school library can be a god idea.

Same issue here. 40 days in sandbox game and it s impossible to get it.

RNG is RNG. It could be a 1 in 2 chance to spawn in any single object, and if your luck sucked badly enough, You'd still never see it. Because 'not appearing' is ALWAYS a possibility.

Some people find it in their starter home, Some people have searched multiple major cities with no luck. Keep looking. Or level your Electrical skill to I think level 3 and you can use the generator without the book.

Always check mailboxes, this is where I find mine most of the time.

Run past all the zombies and go down the block checking 50 of them quickly. It only takes .5 of a second to pick it up and walk away from the zombies.

You need a manual regardless of your electrical skill. Unless that's changed now in b42.

B42 is level 3 electrical if you don't have the manual

I still haven't found generator mag but i trained my guy to level 3 electrical so I can run them now.

In B42 level 3 electrical lets you use them without the book. Better start collecting digital watches.

Only if you sandbox optioned it in. By default dismantling anything won't give any XP.
