Can we get chicken from the egg?

I have a lots of egg and want more chickens. Can i get some from the eggs?

Not sure how that works in the game but the first thing that comes to mind is ... do you have a rooster? Because ummmmmmm ...... you know?

Hover over the eggs that your hens are laying. If it says fertilized, put them somewhere safe. In my case, I literally put them in a storage container inside my house. After some time I came to check something else, ta daaa! There are now chicks in that storage container.

I guess you also have to have a cockerel and a hutch because that was my setup.
