Your dumbest (Funniest) death?

So after just losing what was quite a successful game because I was stupid it got me thinking has anyone got any funny stories of how they died?

This doesn't have to be recent but with the unstable build out a lot of people are coming back to mess around so I feel many people will have some funny stories.

I think mine was when I moved to the woods. Not too far out but the little lake just north eastish of the large warehouse in Muldrough. I took a bunch of equipment and built the best house I'd ever seen (If I do say so myself). I was so proud of it when not only was it finished but fully furnished, painted and organised! I stood atop my amazing creation looking out towards the world!

And then just jumped off. Like, I did have sheet rope in multiple places but for some reason I just ran to the side and went right over the edge, dropping multiple stories while heavily encumbered (Still holding stuff I used for the finish touches). This was actually the last time I played before build 42 because I was just so annoyed with myself despite laughing my ass off when it happened. No accidental zombie bite or quick reaction with a bad outcome, just absolute brain rot.

In B42? I noticed a zombie approaching me inside a house, but my muscle memory made me climb into the room through the window right onto the zombie.

No zombie behind the door, was behind the same wall, i was on the other side off.

Was escaping a horde, wanted to enter a building through a fire exit... There was a desk blocking it (the game was showing a nice, empty interior behind that door before I opened it), zombies got me.
The lesson I learned? Don't rely on doors that lead to somewhere you haven't visited.

I lit a campfire in the grass to face off against a horde of zombies being taken by helicopter.
Just when I was sure I had won after successfully incinerating the zombies, the fire spread to my own tile and I was reduced to ashes.
Since then, I swore to myself never to walk on a tile directly next to a fire.

Speed demon killed me. Just after midnight in the rain, I ran straight into a burned out wreck between rosewood and march ridge. I swear it wasn't there before and i guess i was doing 100. Broke both legs and got eaten the next day trying to fix my van at the mechanic shop.

4 months in i decided to hit a busy town.

Decided the gas station was my best bet.

1 window didnt have a curtain and i didnt notice.

Had to fight the entire town on a staircase, and thats where i died.

I remember now! The intersection south of March Ridge is a deadly one.
The traffic lights there are too murderous.

Well, it wasn't me, but it was with a friend who was playing with me.

He was new to the game and I was teaching him the tricks. At some point I wanted to show the distance from one city to another. We took a car and went from Westpoint to Riverside.

Halfway through I crashed and the car didn't work anymore. We had to go on foot... and for those who don't know, it's far, very far.
We started to get hungry, until I said, let's go this way as I have fishing equipment, while you look for some branches to make a fire. okay, everything's fine.
Until he says "I found some fruit". hahha, for a split second I was silent, when I thought about it I said "don't eat it, it could be poisoned" and he "already ate it"... and he died hahahaha
