b42 water solutions

so as most of us know by now plumbing does not work at the moment. as im living in a shack in the middle of nowhere, this is far from ideal. obviously i can boil water to purify it, but is there any other way of quickly purifying water? ive seen there are tablets for it now, but no matter what i do i cant get it to work :( anyone have any solutions for me?

plumbing doesnt work either? oy vey. i know ovens are pretty much the only thing that purifies water since grills and antique ovens dont. And even then only pans and pots work (one pot out of 3 doesnt for me tho). Its an unstable mess all around. Hopefully someone explains the tablets

I was able to purify water in both the barbeque grill and antique oven. But it seems to be a bit buggy, sometimes (can't exactly pin point why) I had to remove the pot of water from the heat source and then re-add it for it to work, but after that it always worked

Yeah, you always have to put the container in AFTER the oven is turned on, otherwise it won’t boil. Quite annoying but not game breaking

It's an unstable build and not everything works yet. We wanted a new build to play before Xmas and we got it.
I set Power and Water to stay on for 3650 days. Water solved....

Weird. Boiling water worked fine on a normal oven for me. I did notice a change though. The toxicity of the water goes down over time, it's not instant. So it goes from extreme to high to low, (the tainted icon is still there for a few seconds even when it says none), and then it changes to just "water".
Names of statuses may not be accurate, as I'm not in-game right now, but the process should be accurate.
