[B42] confused about forging stuff
hey maybe dumb questions but i had 2 questions about the forging system if anyone feels like being a gigachad and helping me

1) i found the recipe to forge Sledgehammer head, and my character read it, but i'm not seeing it anywhere in my crafting or building menu? do i have to be at the forge first? i'm just trying to see if there's anything else i need to make the sledgehammer / what's required

2) i found a (forged) cooking pot in the world, but i couldn't pour liquid or use it to make stew/soup - will this maybe be fixed or am i doing something wrong

You need to have a forge first, all the smithing recipes are in the crafting menu of the forge.

For the most simple forge, you need two large stones (one of which you turn into a stone anvil, masons chisel required), ten normal stones, a bucket of clay cement (made from clay, a bucket of sand and 10 liters of water). Hope this helps.

another problem is that you'll need the blacksmiths tongs, but they're not spawning in the world at the moment. So debug mode required to get those, unless you can craft them but I've only seen a recipe for the wooden one.

Are you sure? I can only see "Tongs" as a required tool, and I found them while looting the factory and warehouse south of Riverside

I can't find the blacksmith's anvil in any crafting, i made the ceramic mold for it but cant find out how to make it

U can make anvil in furnace with 16 iron bars, but how did u make ceramic mold? I can only make wooden mold but dont know how to use it.
