i don't know myself would love to find out
I don't know how to heal them either.
(maybe you cann give them antibiotics or herbal remedies?)
But isolating them seems to be the necessary first step.
These are real answers:) Just ones you dont like.
Most likely you need to find that magazine i once found. Cant recall what's its name is but it is for animal handling. (And likely you also need a certain level of animal handling and maybe even doctor to cure your sick animals. If it is even possible. Elsewise you are probably better of killing them and using their parts to craft.)
i'm pretty late to this party
i actually just now found a sick bull in a horse trailer and nurtured it back to health by just giving it food, water and pets for a couple days. Apparently they do eventually get healthy again by themselves, depending on the severity of the sickness, by just leaving them be with the stuff they need. Petting is optional but could help them reduce their stress but possibly heal them faster.
What's for sure is that you should isolate them from the rest of the herd to prevent the sickness from spreading, and give them lots of food and water so they got everything needed to regain their strength
