This saddens me. What if I wanted to read the diary? It would be more valuable insight into what civilians were experiencing before they passed.

I can only hope such things will be added by mods in the future, or I could dare hoping the devs can implement it themselves later...

Photos, photo albums and so on probably will have worth to some NPC-s...but now they re just junk items, burn or delete:)

True, but it seems like such a small thing that devs might not get around to it until much later.

I'm still thankful to have so much more immersive clutter. Even just seeing "Sad Letter" in zombie loot makes them feel more like they used to be a person than just a collection of meh loot on a pair of legs that want to harm me.
