B42 Generators. Any difference between them?
As the title says, asides from "condition lower chance" that can be seen on the PZ wiki I can't really seem to find any additional information on it.

I'd IMAGINE premium tech's generator works the best, but it also has the highest condition lower chance so idk.

I understand they can start fires, that's rhe failure you need to worry about, not just losing power, so definitely worth using the premium if you can find it.

The stat "ConditionLowerChanceOneIn" actually means that the higher the number is, the lower the chance of it losing Condition.
Because it's a one-in-that-number chance that the item/tool/weapon/genny loses 1 point of Condition.

So for example if you have a weapon that has a ConditionLowerChanceOneIn 10, that means that every 10th hit on average causes 1 point of Condition loss. Then again if that number is 60, it takes 60 hits on average to lose 1 point of Condition.

Meaning that the premium tech genny is the most durable one. :)

Any reasons to use the others or is it just tiered upgrades?

The other gennies are now the old mufflers and average brakes of the world. Leave them where they are and get your hands on premium tech gennies. :D

Or the blue ones? They look pretty modern.

I think the blue ones are ValuTech which are ass, and the yellow/light brownish ones are the Premium Technologies.

You can check by right click - generator info though.

Mine just says fuel and condition, no info on quality. Btw why do we drop them when entering cars or going trough a window, is it intended or a bug?

Edit: tooltip says generator Lectro-Max, is that good?

You're absolutely right, the genny info window doesn't actually tell you which one it is, but you DO see exactly the type if you pick it up and look at its name in your inventory.

Also yeah they disabled carrying gennies while driving and placing them on car seats. Gotta use a trunk or a trailer now.

What about carrying them trough windows, I dropped the generator as soon as I hope across. Is it also intended?

Has to be. They also made it impossible to carry a bag in your off-hand while climbing windows, which is just silly.

Makes sense, seems like it would be rather uncomfortable to sit in a car with a whole gas generator in your lap lol.

It does doesn't it, but so does the rest of the stuff we carry on ourselves like a tree log and a bunch of big ass weapon/tools FFS but that's ok while driving. Not for generators though, oh no, not for that. 'Cause realism.

Sounds to me like we need to make tree logs harder to carry too. I will call my direct line to the devs and let them know right away.
