Trait suggestions for smoker, weight traits and traits in general[Build 42]
Fast/slow metabolism should remain in the game still since they are a good variety to the traits in the game
(however the points should be increased, because its absurd that you only get +2 for a permenant effect with a near crippling temporary effect)
With also the re-addition of seperate traits like underweight, extremely underweight, overweight and obese(as before Build 42) as a middleground trait to have

Rather than extremely underweight and obese as the only options for a character which doesn't really make that much sense and already limits the combinations of traits that can be done(if it wasn't already small enough)

Nerfing smoker is abit excessive since you still need to find the cigarettes and make sure to have a stockpile of them nearby and always keep some on you to smoke to prevent anxiety and sadness. Like most people circimvented the need to find cigarettes by increasing their spawn anyway, so screwing over people who stuck with mostly vanilla settings won't prevent people modding

Now there are more positive than negative traits in the game, which really kinda limits the choice someone has with traits(and just going to reinforce "meta builds" since theres not much variety or combination thats fun to play with)

Though I will say, you shouldn't be allowed to combine fast metabolism with obese or slow metabolism with underweight since it would be quite powerful
(could be done in an interesting way though since you could rapidly gain or lose weight as a result if you aren't careful enough or possibly make it that the player has to be one weight level above to avoid losing too much due to the amount of food needed to be eaten)

Other traits:(positve and negative traits indicated with + & - respectively)
- Slow healer being nerfed to +3(from +6) kinda is brutal for a permenent trait that forces you to rest for a few days extra

+ Speed demon being turned into a positive trait is a good change since its never really been a negative trait(until you start to speed anyway) (Note: I am incorrect, it has always been a positive, must of misremembered from a mod)

- High thirst being nerfed from +6 to +1 is extremely excessive too(should be a +3-4 at least for a permenant trait that can be deadly in 6 months later or challenges), and possibly adding another trait called Polydipsia(excessive thirst with +300% or something as another choice for the player)

- reluctant fighter(previously Pacifist ), like the name change, though there should defiently be a added pacifist(75% skill loss as before) and non-violent(90%-100% skill loss) and changing reluctant fighter to 50% skill-loss

And I feel like there needs to be additional 1 point traits to take(positive and negative), since its almost guarateed that there will be one point remaining which can't be ultised elsewhere(at least thats what I found before the major trait changes in build 42)

Edit 1: incorrect about speed demon trait
Veteran got a massive nerf from recent testing, now the character panics when theres a giant horde. Will there be compensation to having the trait? I.e. decreased time to get used to zeds?

Slow Healer getting nerfed was fair, it is pretty much free, your wounds don't heal slower they are just worse and in a game where you can get killed in one bite or scratch, it is worth the risk.

Speed Demon was always a positive trait in 41... don't know where you got that information from.

High thirst being nerfed from +6 is justified, however only one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ point? It simply isn't worth taking anymore, they simply should have made it +3 or +2. It is unstable though, things are subject to change.

Pretty sure pacifist is still identical to before, still not worth taking, especially so if you are running muscle strain now.

I feel there needs to be more traits in general as right now, unemployed is still the best occupation hands down, close behind are carpenter and fire officer.

I must of had a mod previously that made speed demon a negative or something, I cant quite remember whether it was a negative or not lol

Slow healer should honestly actually do what it says then since I didnt know that

I think having pacifist and the other version I suggested would allow for more variety in gameplay
