How do I get a water dispenser out of my trailer
I picked up a water dispenser and threw it into the trailer I had attached to the back of my truck, but now I can't seem to get it out of there no matter what I try. Right click -> Pick Up does nothing, right click -> equip in hands does nothing, dragging it out brings up the Placing UI but I can't actually place it.

Im having the same problem. Did anyone figure out how to get it out? Mine is stuck in my truck.
try reducing your wieght to under 10...drop all bags and tools and whatnot then try to pick it up
It's encumbrance issue.
Yep - encumbrance. Last night I caught a huge fish; Alligator Carp, like 150 encumbrance units I think. Was able to take it and put it in the passenger seat of my car. Got home and couldn’t take it out. Best I could do was sit in the car and (with a broken passenger window) drop it outside.

From there I was left scratching my head lol. I dropped some of my items and still couldn’t grab it. Decided to eat a bit, and drop all of my items aside from my clothes, then I was able to get it.

dude. lol
i am praying i can't wait until this nightmare build is over.
can't wait for the announcement of the admittance that it was all a big joke

what a giant bug. that one is .... lol

for real bugs like that indicate that there is some insider joke going on.
i mean with some players saying they only do realism if its bad for the player. And then the player catch 150 fish. over 4x the maximum inventory carry capacity. There is never a reason anything carryable needs to be greater than 40 in represented encumbrance.
And i feel like that ontop of it all. no matter what any player did in this build
every aspect was made to have a broken element as the launch joke for the insiders. Not just a broken element but a hugely obnoxious broken element. surely. surely that is the truth. I pray that it is the truth.

This wasn't a big joke. It looks like IS did this for MP players. MP is where the money are and majority of 50K players. Also, it looks like devs are not reacting well to critical feedback.

If you want some semblance of a playable solo game you must tinker with sandbox and remove the obnoxious B42 changes. And wait for mods. Or, just play B41 with all the great mods.

I am having the same issue, but mine is stuck in the bed of my truck and is full of water. It won't let me pick it up or place it on the ground. It shows an option to empty it but it won't let me do that either.

Where are you getting this data? Because last I heard, about 3%-10% of PZ players play MP, the 90%+ others are in single player.
Everything on internetz is an opinion. So, my opinion is based on the player count before and after MP release. Was 7K, became 65K.

Majority of new features in B42 is tailored to MP. You can't comfortably be at the same metalsmith, farmer, builder, mechanic, mason and hunter in B42. Everything is softlocked behind the starting trait bonuses. And: disassembly XP is locked, TV doesn't teach beyond lvl3, tool requirements are insane. You have to do sandbox to adjust settings to solo.
