B42 Cooking & recipes

Now that B42 is out, my trusty stir-fry only holds 4 ingredients and i'm finding it hard to maintain weight because butter and lard get used way too quickly now and i'm running out constantly. What are your guys go-to cooking recipes on B42?

Getting your hands on pasta and the bags of dried lentils/chickpeas/beans can help pack on the pounds.

I did not even get to cooking yet, beside cooking what i find (stews and the like) already prepped by the dead.

Cooking is weird now. It's not all done via the crafting menu like before. For some things it's all right-click context menu and for other things, it's still the build menu.

Havent found any cows yet. Only mice and pigs. My base in the south of Louisville so that might be the issue. So cows are butter machines! Good to know!

I don't imagine cooking won't go without another balancing/fix run. Stir-Fries can have a ton of different ingredients IRL, like many other dishes.

I agree that Stir-fries need a little buff to at least hold 5 ingridients but so far for me I've settled outside of rosewood and while exploring the rest of the map, I've made my fair amount of roadkills, Rabbits and deers are a pretty good source of food, Devs are seriously trying to force you to go into forest or rural areas so you can get a fair amount of meat.

For me I have a full fridge of Deer meat and Rabbit meat, only because of roadkills, I only have 4 cows because they are a really good source of milk and butter.
