B42 how to power basement with generator?
Recently power cut out in my game. I'm located in that gas station / dinner on echo creek and mostly live in that basement. I've got 3x generators and tried every single one of them even inside the basement. But nor the lights nor the equipment there gets power. Anyone got this problem? Do i need to do something or is it a bug? Any fixes?

Are you telling me that they forgot to program generators to be able to also power basements? Oh man...

I heard someone say something about it being bugged (no power in the basement.)

It's annoying that things like this that were obviously forgotten and not "bugged" aren't fixed yet but they rush to remove some art from a loading screen due to some people crying about it. Meanwhile debug text is still there breaking immersion for all, context menu is extremely inconsistent, have to use a crafting menu to make a sandwich, new buildings have their furniture overlapping or placed lazily in such a way that the entire room can't be accessed. Given the amount of time spent on this update it's sad to see that they've cut corners, rushed or simply forgotten to do some things. There's no excuse for that. All in all though B42 is shaping up to be a huge step forward for the game.

It's not complete. Maybe it was forgotten, maybe it just wasn't implemented yet. This kind of crap is exactly why they waited so long to put out the unstable build too. I bet you were one of the ones wanting "right now" too. Probably even joined in on the "We paid to test it" group too.

Aren't basements supposed to be RNG on where they spawn? My money's on that being the issue.

Semi RNG if I read the blogs right. They have set locations they can spawn.

I'm having this problem too, I can't get power to the basement whether I put the generator in the basement or wherever I put it

Actually, a gen working inside the basement would make it a death room fairly quick.

Read my comment. Clearly I've put more time into playing and testing B42 than complaining about it. I've been playing the game since 2014, I am in no rush. My points were all perfectly valid and objective criticisms. Your kind of comments are just as bad as the "Give me npcs now" crowd.
