so far it looks like 2 people had the method work for them and 2 had non effect.
sorry I could not be more useful in your case. I don't have access to AMD cards, so can't mess with around and see if there are an easy fixes.
one more thing I can think of, is if you have access to Microsoft Surface, you can try option where with installed steam you can actually run game from PC without installing it on Surface itself (might give you access to an option menu in game from your laptop)
and option 2, if you know anyone with a Steam Deck, you can log in from a steam deck, change settings to minimal and try logging back on a laptop. Had one time used the method in other game after game got confused with screen settings when was played on different resolutions on different devices.
and I rather have devs letting community test their product, than have few paid bloggers hype the "AAA" (quotations are for sarcasm) game which is released unplayable. in case of PZ at least we have some sort of dialog between devs and community.
No I wouldn't be surprised as I have gone thru my fair share of encountering game breaking bugs hell we could just bring up league of legends for example or something from ubisoft. Why risk screwing up a game on such a level it makes the player base leave? Simple either A they didn't and don't care oh people will come back. Or B likely case they weren't thinking when they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the game for some of the playerbase everyone wanted 42 to be rushed and I was one of the few saying eh let it come out when it's ready now it's not even fully released and it's effecting on a game breaking degree. People ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about muscle strain which was a joke of a complaint but hey you can at least play the game to experience muscle sprain. It's giving me the same taste of the halo tv show or halo in recent years which isn't a good thing.
It was not even a week yet, things will get fixed. Even map online will be updated to build 72 sometime in January. Quite sure they will gather ton of statistics on what works and what doesn't over winter holidays while we are trying to get into the game. Not all what is in current build will make it into stable, but faster this gets cleaned up, faster we will get NPCs to try out.
Like from trying, I can say new changes to combat are interesting, for casual gamers it is not a big change to game play style, but for people who were rushing to center of the town on Apocalypses settings - let just say they not so fans of changes lol.
And most of the old exploits were fixed as well, not all, few still in game buhaha. But new guides are needed, old ones 80% outdated and not usable any-longer
