My B42 traits. Your opinion?
I'm still new at PZ. Played B41 only 2 months and have to adjust to B42 now. Because many of the old popular traits have been nerfed, I'm looking for a new traits balance. I think I've found a pretty good loadout, but would appreciate your opinion.

Traits that I've dismissed:

- Smoker: not enough cigarettes or cigars and matches or lighters in the world, so constantly stressed out.
- Short-sighted: too blurry beyond my eyesight boundaries, more blurry than in B41.
- High thirst: didn't bother me in B41, but is more present in B42.
- Cat's eyes: was great in B41, but doesn't help in B42's pitch black rooms.

My new loadout:

Umemployed (Custom Occupation)

Negative traits:
- Conspicuous +4
- Prone to Illness +4
- Reluctant Fighter +4
- Weak Stomach +3
- Clumsy +2
- Slow Metabolism +2
- Slow Reader +2
- (High Weight because of Slow Metabolism)

Positive traits:
- Outdoorsy -2
- Gymnast -5
- Fit -6
- Kean Hearing -6
- Strong -10

Points to Spend: 0

Result:
Fitness 6
Lightfooted 1 +75%
Nimble 1 +75%
Strength 9

I think this is a nice loadout early on, but keen hearing pts are better used with wakeful, dexterous, and cat's eyes or organized. I also think thin skinned is a good negative to take once you're more comfortable surviving scraps with zomboids. With thin skinned I'll take handy for the carpentry and maintenance as well as a good bit stronger constructions.

I thought short sighted was countered by glasses?

I beg to disagree. Wakeful and cat's eyes are less useful given just how dark night-time is now, unless you're just using wakeful to blitz exercise. I'd also argue that with the new fluid system, high thirst is less of a worry since EVERYTHING is a water-bottle now. I don't think the one point is worth it, but it's still a better pick than sunday driver if you need the spare change.

Dont think you need gymnast in B42, since you can only fight for limited amount of time the nimble impact isnt as impartant as in B41, your build is kinda B41 ish still solid/god though.

Yes. They were my favourites in B41, but not so much now.

I thought that Nimble was still important in B42 and hard to level up. But it isn't anymore? Could save me 5 points.

hes talking about how muscle strain limits combat, from what ive heard once youve got a few levels in your chosen weapon skill its no longer a real problem unless your really hammering away for a long time. honestly ill still take it if your a combat oriented player.
