Long stick

How to obtain long stick? Only from saplings? I need it for racks, but can craft only handles or rods from planks or branches

Pretty sure it should be craftable from planks or logs, but the update notes did mention some of the new crafting recipes are either busted or yet to be implemented.

I've found a couple long sticks in industrial sites like sheds and warehouses, if nothing else.

You need to forage in the forest, they're abundant here.

I hope they add a Lathe that we can use.

I haven't went as far as to indulge into the crafting, but I'm pretty certain you can switch the Build Menu search to look for recipe's ingredients and result items, so you should be able to find what recipe makes anything.

Also, I believe there are in fact in-world Lathe device and some others I have found along the way in the garages and basements. Whether they actually can already be used for crafting is something I forgot to test.

Maybe they added functionality to them, but I always thought the Lathes in factories and such were just tile items. Much like water heaters in basements.

I recently located a Lathe, and I am afraid it is still a tile, but I look forward to soon when they add the functionality for it, for now, I have a craft stick recipe mod.
