Darkness and Time of Day

Just out of curiosity, what time of day does it actually get dark in game for you guys? For me, it does not really start getting dark until 11:30 p.m./2330. Midnight is when it gets fully dark. Then, daylight starts back around 0600 in the morning. Not really complaining, but it does seem like it should start darkening closer to 9 p.m./2100 in the summer time and earlier during winter. Anyone else notice night time only occurring really late in the day?

Yeah it definitely gets dark really late, but I would sorta expect that from a summer in kentucky.

I haven't checked, and it would be a pleasant surprise if it got darker earlier in the winter, but I'm not holding my breath.

Yeah, I'm hoping winter is dark and frightening. Still though... I live a couples states away from Kentucky and it definitely starts to get dark way sooner than 11 something. Hopefully they adjust it a bit.

It was the case in B41 so I wouldn't imagine it would of been removed in B42

Yes, it gets dark much too late in the day. It should be adjusted by two hours or so.

its not accurate - its just 1/4th of 24 hours - it should be 1/3 so ya it should get dark two hours earlier but... thats less time to do stuff... its something that should be in sandbox option

Yeah, it also did not occur to me that the reason it might seem to get dark so late is that I always have Cat Eyes as a trait. Not sure if that is why I only perceive it to be dark late at night.

I've only reached September so far. And it gets really dark around 22.00 in the evening. Before that, you can still see just fine even without Cat Eyes perk.

it gets dark most often at night, which is when it's late out. that's when most of the light goes away, because the sun is asleep. 🤗 hope that helps!

I gotta say I do find it amusing how long the days last. I'm in southeast Texas and if it was still light out at 11PM I would seriously be questioning whether the Earth had stopped rotating.

Listen to the nature, you can hear when it starts to get dark, not sure how soon after darkness sets in, but seems like an hour roughly.
