Impossible to Find Generator Manual Now?

I looked far and wide, I realize it was a scarce item before, but now sheeeesh. I hadn't found one in over 15 in-game days.

PS. Found plenty of generators during that time, at least 4-5.

RNG is RNG, 15 in game days is a drop in the bucket for how long some people have had it take. I saw someone once that was 1 year and 3.5~ months into their save and still hadn't found one.

B42? I'm not sure it even matters anymore maybe I got unlucky but I fueled up at a gas station twice and it was empty.

i found 2 generator between day 2 until 3, it's rng

it took me two ingame months in build 41 to find a genny mag. i heard loot is generally scarcer now but i don't think the sisyphus experience of finding magazines you need has changed at all

Ah yes, the elusive generator magazine. This at least is absolutely no different at all from previous builds.

Try looking in the back of trucks for businsses that might have that type of electrical stuff. Found 3 that way in parking lots.

Also in a vehicle story for the 4th one randomly lol

One spawned in the Rosewood Firestation garage for me.

I think you automatically unlock the skill with electrical level, three I think.

After searching the usual places, I found it in a new B42 sorta place.

In the dumpster behind a gas station, *inside* a garbage bag. Now you have to check all the bags too because there is valuable stuff in there!

Every bag, every container actually. You can find books on seats in cars:D Is how i got agriculture 2. On a rear seat:D
edit: just wait till you visit a post office and see the parcels and mail bags;)

I once had got the magazine in the spawn location. Talk about lucky.

Ive found most of them in the backs of work vans (not just any vans, ones with construction company logos on them)

I went to the Ekton post office expecting wonders, and there wasn't anything in there. It's like a little fake post office with just a couple of cash registers. No package room, no mail bags!

Yeah, me too, an office trash bin.
Maybe it's lore like panicked people ransacked bookstores etc for manuals which can be found in safehouse stories.
