animals disappearing after sleeping?

had a boar and a sow. both happy, fed, not thirsty and fenced in with a metal fence. went to bed and saw that apparently the sow had vanished into thin air? boar is still happy, fed, not thirsty... checked the surrounding area and no sow in sight. :( bug? anyone else experience this yet?

I had chickens disappear and then reappear in a day. Like I checked everything and 9 out of 10 were gone only to come back the next day. Maybe yours will come back too.
btw, has anyone worked out where chickens lay eggs? how often do we get them?

rip sow indeed.. would have been nice if she at least left her body somewhere for me to loot lmao, i havent played since she disappeared but im hoping that she shows up in a couple days like the disappearing chickens lol. i cant comment on them as i havent had any chickens yet.

It should be in the settings.
There is a meta predator option. if checked a fox etc will take an animal in the night without your seeing it. Its similar to other meta events like the helicopter that cause an event, but you dont get to see it.
