No plumbing? Sterilizing water bug? Build 42

Not being able to sterilize water AND plumbing not functional in this build??? That first part better be fixed but this has already killed my motivation to keep going after my water shutdown lol

Edit: Some container like Saucepan can't sterilize water aeough.

Rolling boil depending on altitude but it should be 3-5 minutes for water. From cold it shouldn't take longer even on an electric stove more then idk 30 minutes to rolling boil and sterilize. Unless the pot is excessively large.

Objects and pans? I think it's 165 degrees for 5 minutes? This is why cast iron pans heat for 5 minutes so you know it's "clean"

From there if you catch steam on a cold surface and let it drip like a metal pan lid that is sterile and drip it into a clean container it will go from sterile to distilled water

Water purification taking long is a known issues. Plumbing is not in game currently.

the new build won't allow me to wash self or clothes in tainted water and i can't connect a sink, so i have to travel from the storage facility to the motel in order to get a limited supply of washing water, or else always leave time to find a bath before returning.

living near river, youi can wash yourself and clothes. I found the backpack sprayer so i move water more easily (liquid transfer sys have some problem/workaround). Pot and kettle work for purifing water, some other container are bugged

You can wash in natural water sources, though. Lakes, wells, ponds, the river, right click->natural water source->wash->self/clothing

i don't mind that water is tainted and wont purify through plumbing, but I had no problem purifying water to put into my large water source and plumb into my kitchen. Now i have no working sink in my lil kitchen in a post apocalypse fantasy
im sure a mod will fix it later
