About the moodles I don't really care. I play PZ since the first days, when it wasn't even buyable on Steam and I don't think the new ones are that bad. We just need to get used to them.
A subtle sight adjustment in the dim rooms would be cool, with a higher rate for cateyes +1.
I think seeing in the pitch dark is not realistic, I get it. Should be more opportunity for moon cycles and flashlights.
The difference tho vs real life is that you can feel your surroundings irl. When you can feel where the walls, doors and all are, it hardly matters much atall that you can't see, but the game doesn't have anything that translates the sensation of touch into something the player can use, so we're just left completely hopeless for the most part.
One idea i saw for that elsewhere was a tiny colourless view around you to somewhat act as you 'feeling' your way around, which i thought would work pretty well
