B42 sink piping / plumbing

I can't find a way to connect rainwater to sink like in previous versions.

Does this mean we have to boil no matter what or there's a system to filter / pipe ?

I was able to plumb sinks consistently by removing the sink from the counter (picking it up) and reinstalling it. Someone told me this doesn't work for them though, so try enabling all cheats in debug mode because that's how I tested it.

Picking up a sink and placing it back is really not 'plumbing' a sink.

A sink still cannot be plumbed to water barrels on the roof in a new location.

I won't lie, I've used the plumbing barrels to sinks thing more times than I care to remember, but a length of piping inexpertly added by a survivor shouldn't result in magically clean, drinkable water. It should result in contaminated water coming out of taps. The easy solution is to do what our ancestors did when faced with poor water quality. Drink beer instead.
