spear fishing in B42

[VANGUARD]

Crafted a wooden spear and tried to fish at a nearby river.
The right click option only opens a window with a lot of question mark icons.
Has anyone figured out how to spear fish?

you cant spearfish according to a early tester. need fishing rod etc

I personally got disappointed when I found out I can't fish, hopefully they will not remove spear fishing because it really fits the new B42 update after they added so much stuff for wilderness and spear fishing makes a lot of sense now.

so far I see that fishing is just unfinished so there's hope that they will reintroduce spear fishing back at some point at least.

Foraging/Trapping still works I think

Removed cause it was op somewhat. You could easily get your weight up fishing morning and at night at the right hours. It was VERY easy to get food stacked for months with spearfishing

Now I have no idea how to keep my weight up though once the power comes off though.

I mean the fishing rod recipe isnt super hard to make so its not terrible that spear fishing is gone. especially now that we can make rope from foraging dogbane

one of the requirements is a wooden rod. Where do you get that? can u craft a wooden rod?

If you have a knife and a working car and a bbq or wood stove.... it's surprisingly easy to feed ya self... just need.
