No running zombies, no chopper, zombies don't respawn after I kill 'em and that's about it as far as I can remember, also zombies activate house alarms.

I tweaked almost everything to easy noob settings. :) (Too many settings to list them all.)

Optimal isn't an opinion. Optimal means adjusting to set criteria.

If your criteria is "Easy Gameplay" then optimal settings would be to set the zombie population very low and make them very weak, max all loot, and push every slider to easy.

If your criteria is "Highest difficulty possible", you'd do the opposite for optimal settings.

increased population, spread them out more, sprinters, random zombie settings, rare loot, chopper sometimes, immediate water and power shutoff, low plant disease, fast endurance gain, low endurance loss, increased xp gains, increased starting trait points, minimap on, all known locations at start off, no building damage from zombies, low injury, zombie drag down, zombie lunge, gun noise .20, gas stations low to very low, no poison. the rest are pretty much vanilla.

My settings:

5% zombie sprinter
Chopper sometimes
Meta events sometimes
High fuel on cars
High chance veichle parts in perfect condition
Low visibility on zombies
No respawn
Zombies don't form groups
Very low zombies that raise to high population + peak day on 60th day. (I forgot the setting name)

That's about it

Dont touch zombie population it is currently bugs. It only increases population, no matter what you select. Not sure to what level, but it will increase it only to that level no matter what you select.

Apocalypse as base:
Level 10 by media
Level 10 by crashing things
Farms above ground level
Respawn every 168 hours for both settings
Respawn multiplier 0.03
Chance for vehicle to have gas medium
Amount of gas very low
Every event sometimes
You can speed up vegetation if you want
No tainted water tooltip
No zombie drag down
Player spawn area inside the room
Basement spawn frequency often
All stories often
Map known on start
