Absolutely crazy!
Makes sense.
You can halve the filets.
They SHOULD allow you to build a small cart that you can pull by hand! It would solve so many problems.
But I mean... what do you if you catch such a fish without the needed carpentry level/saw?
Do you build a campfire on site?
It would make so much more sense to let players drag big fish with their hands like human/zombie bodies.
No i dont cook them right away just fillet them to get the weight split in half in two pieces.
I never considered going out to fish before at least one episode of woodcraft on day 1
Nope. I have a mod called "Long Term Food Preservation" it allows you to half fliets, so i can devide initial two into 4, and those fit nearly anywhere.
Btw, did you guys noted that where is a list of fish you spotted in the area now. I'm wandering if you can catch big fish everywhere or this depends on location? I fish in Dark Wallow lake.

I have also caught a 190cm paddlefish previously, and their weight seems to be capped at 45, I saw above that actually they can go to 50!?
I'd cut them immediately with a nearby table and prepare them into pans for transport.
I fish exclusively in west point river, big fish do exist here. Not sure about other places. I'm close to completing the list, but seeing how I get some fishes more often than the rest, I suspect that the fishing spot, season, weather etc affect the catch.
