you should start talking to ai. i pumped the quote into microsoft co pilot
It seems like in Project Zomboid B42, you can't assemble a fireaxe by combining a head and handle through the crafting menu. This is a known issue in the game, and currently, fireaxes can't be repaired or reassembled like other axes or hatchets1.
You might want to keep an eye out for any updates or mods that could potentially add this functionality in the future. In the meantime, you could try using duct tape or wood glue to repair your existing fireaxe1.
Does that help clarify things a bit?
were they meant to be added in are you sure it's a bug
It seems like the inability to reassemble fireaxes in Project Zomboid B42 is indeed a bug rather than an intentional design choice. Players have reported issues with repairing and reassembling fireaxes, which suggests that this feature might have been overlooked or not fully implemented yet1.
Would you like to know more about any other features or bugs in the game?
u good now bro ?
the piece itself is ' Firefighter Axe Head '
You need a hammer, bladed item, firefighter axe head, and long handle.
that's it, thanks. I was looking for it by keywords like "axe" and "fire", didn't think of "implement"...
I guess now the next thing is how can someone destroy a perfectly good axe head by putting it on a wooden handle, I mean Jesus, unstable indeed
You can search the recipe by output materials or input materials, e.g search for the fire axe head as input material. You'll need to do it to navigate the giant list of recipes. I rarely search the recipe name, many of the names are not exactly intuitive enough to search for.
noted, thanks
