Can't throw corpse over fence?

Did the mistake of killing a zombie in my chicken pen, which is closed off with fence all around. No way to throw the corpse over the fence? I keep trying holding E next to the fence, but it just keeps dropping the corpse on the ground instead.

Yeah, it'll drop the corpse if you try to climb any fence or wall. I'd recommend either burying the corpse, or deconstructing and reconstructing a fence. I would also recommend adding a gate to prevent that in the future.
