The new update is AMAZING.

Just a post to show my appreciation to the devs, first time playing after a year ~ of playing other games, and i'm amazed by all the new addition !

The new lighting system work very well, and give light producing item a real utility, i was in complete darkness, with just my lighter that let me barely see what's in front of me, in the middle of the night, the ambiance is top notch

The new ui is very cool, i liked the new spawn selection, as well as the new mod menu, there is a lot of small change to the ui that i can't specificly identify, but the whole package is very great !

ANIMALS ! Damn, you can't imagine how happy i was to see a mouse, like i'm not the only thing alive ! I tried to pet her, then took her in my hand, with the goal of guarding her, unfortunaly a zombie attacked me, and when i took my crowbar it released the mouse, my heart is now broken, her name was Mickey :(

The character having a "voice" add a lot too the game, even if right now, from what i saw, there isn't a lot of "vocals"

The new crafting / building menu are really great, and i love all the new crafting option, finally i can play as a forest hobo madmax edition

There is tiny light on light switch, extremely small addition, but this is an excellent idea !

Anyway, i could go on and on, if any dev see this, know that you can be very proud of you, this game keep being better and better, and is BY FAR the best survival game, the best zombie game, and the best roleplay game.

Yeah I thought I'd retreat back to B41 with all its mods only 1 hour in, but I was made a beleeber. Now I'm zeroed in on B42. Plus theres plenty of decent mods for it now, too

nice comment ive seen so much hate towards the developers for taking so long on the recent updates that it's nice to see people being positive

Basements and animals are very cool but sad to smear bunnies all over road
