No doorframes/wall tiles etc Build 42

My characters never have access to simple door frames or any carpentry build options other than the different molds, even when I get up to carpentry level 4. Is there a skill book I need to find? I also have not been able to get the recipe for a rain collectors even when watching Life and Living 3 times a day.

I have the same issue - Only some molds and the bellows recipe on carpentry 2. What am I missing? Theres also no context menu option for carpentry when I right click on a floor tile. Very wierd.

The crafting menu (molds, bellows) and build menu (walls, furniture) are two different things. You can find the button to open the build menu below the crafting menu button. You don't need to learn recipes for buildings. And no, you can't build from the right-click context menu in B42.
